Win an RBT qualifier, 2017 Team of the Year, Classic XXII, TIO
ProAm1 or an RBT Open2 and you’re in
Renegade Bass Tour, Canada’s premiere bass fishing series and open tournaments is pleased to announce the creation of the Tournament of Champions Tournament for 2017.
It’s open to all competitors of the Renegade Bass Tour series, all non-series registered RBT 150HP & Under Opens competitors, all amateur participants of the Steve Lee Memorial Instructional Pro-AM and every team competing in the Thousand Islands Open. The exclusive field will feature the winners of each RBT qualifier, 2017 Team of the Year, Classic XXII, Thousand Islands Open, Pro-AM (AM only), and the RBT 150 & Under Opens.
The only way into the Tournament of Champions showdown is to win the eligible event and no other teams will be given the opportunity.
The Showdown will be a one day event that will provide an extra challenge….no pre-fishing. None of the participants will know what body of water they will be fishing. “This will test the skills of the anglers” says RJ, RBT Master of Ceremonies. “Each boat will have a camera on board and will be filmed for a two episode show on the World Fishing Network by noted filmmaker, JP DeRose of Breaking Boundaries fame”.
“Tournament anglers are ultra competitive” says RBT President, Mike Vandenberg. “This will give one team the mantle of Champion of Champions”.
To register for the 2017 RBT series, Steve Lee Memorial Instructional Pro-AM and the 150 & Under Opens, log on www.renegadebass.com.
1. Only amateur participants of the Steve Lee Memorial Instructional Pro-AM are eligible for the Tournament of Champions. Details on how the winning amateur will participate in the Tournament of Champions will be determined at a later date.
2. Anglers registered in the RBT series are not eligible for the Tournament of Champions. As you must win the tournament to qualify for the Tournament of Champions event, if a series registered angler wins an RBT 150 HP & Under event, there will be no team sent to the Tournament of Champions for that Open event.
