Fish with an RBT Pro this Summer 2017 and Learn from the Best
Renegade Bass ProAm Event Gets Anglers “In the Boat” with a Seasoned Tournament Pro
Renegade Bass Tour, Canada’s premiere bass fishing tournament series and open tournaments, is giving anglers the opportunity to fish with one of the RBT Pros, Sunday July 9th on Lake St. Francis out of Cornwall.
RBT is now accepting budding competitive anglers who want to learn more about bass tournament fishing, along with some of the “tricks of the trade” from the competitors. The RBT Steve Lee Memorial Instructional Pro-Am puts an amateur angler with a pro in a friendly and educational bass fishing tournament. The late Steve Lee was a long time competitor who was always willing to offer advice to any angler regardless of their expertise.
Anglers competing with the pros will have the opportunity to fish the St.Lawrence River out of Cornwall Ontario which is considered one of the best smallmouth bass fisheries in Canada. Five pound bronze backs are plentiful in the fishery. Previous RBT events on Lake St.Francis have seen many 20+ pound bags come to the scales.
The RBT Steve Lee Instructional ProAm is for anyone who has contemplated tournament fishing, for those who want to move up to the next level or anglers aiming to learn. Renegade Bass Tour angler, Danny Laramee competed in the Pro Am twice. “I was hooked”, he says. “A friend told me how much fun it would be and how much I would learn, not to mention a ton of free stuff for taking part”.
“Fun and learning are what the RBT Steve Lee Instructional Pro-Am are all about” says RBT President, Mike Vandenberg. “We wanted to create an event that gave new competitive anglers a taste of tournament bass fishing without the pressure”. All amateur competitors will walk away at the end of the day with a prize pack from Berkley, Paddletale’s and Bennett’s Bait and Tackle. To learn more or to register, log on www.renegadebass.com
